Salary: £34,000 + Bonus paid quarterly
Hours: Mon - Fri - 8:30am - 17:00pm - Hybrid working - 1 day form home 4 office based
Ocean Import Operations & Account Manager Overview
We are seeking an experienced Ocean import specialist within the freight forwarding industry based in Wythenshawe, Manchester. To join their team who are the fastest growing employee owned UK freight forwarder. They provide a variety of logistics services that include ocean freight, air freight, Road Freight, 3PL and e-commerce fulfillment to multiple clients with global supply chains.
You will be accountable to the Operations Team Leader for the day to day running of customers import and export requirements via ocean, air and road, ensuring procedures are followed. Also ensuring the department remains profitable, efficient and focused.
Ocean Import Operations & Account Manager Key Responsibilities:
Complete start to finish ocean import operations for key customer accounts
Ensure all shipments imports/exports, are processed within a timely manner.
Prompt processing of customer invoicing and passing of supplier costs to meet KPI's
Liaise with shipping lines, carriers, merchant haulage and oversea agents
Obtain quotes and rates for best possible price.
Pride the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction. Company Benefits:
