Ocean Freight Operator
Hybrid Working.
Full-time working Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 17:30pm.
Paying up to £30,000 per annum.
Based in Bristol, BS35.
We are working with a Global Freight Forwarding and Logistics organisation who are seeking an experienced Ocean Freight Operator.
This will be working on a hybrid pattern after a successful probationary period, 2 days at home, 3 days in the office, on a rotating basis.
The successful candidate will be joining a busy and efficient Ocean Export OR Ocean Import department, handling all elements of Ocean Exports/Imports for both FCL and LCL shipments.
Experience within Ocean Freight is essential, in either Ocean Imports OR Exports.
Duties & Responsibilities:
·Taking bookings and opening customer files.
·Managing Ocean Freight files from start to finish.
·Liaising with shipping lines and making reservations.
·Arranging collections and deliveries.
·Raising and producing all Ocean Freight documentation.
·Completing Ocean Freight customs entries.
·Raising invoices and billing out.
·Resolving any customer service issues which may arise throughout the shipment.
The successful candidate will need to have a clean criminal record and a 5-year checkable work historyBefore You Apply
