Ocean Freight Import Clerk   £28k - £30k DOE Maidstone  Monday - Friday Office Based Role  Our well-established client are looking to onboard a reliable and experienced Ocean Freight Import Clerk to join their already flourishing team! If you are looking to further your career in the Freight industry then look no further!  Responsibilities: Facilitating all aspects of Ocean import shipments from collection, shipping, pre alert, delivery and invoicing  Regular contact with customers to update them on shipments or anything else necessary  Liaising with suppliers and agents ensuring customer requirements are met for import shipments Ensure shipping documents are completed fully in an efficient and thorough manner inline with regulations  Accurately prepare, control and distribute all relevant import documentation to counterparts including carrier, consignee and supplier, making this is fully compliant within regulations  Follows-up shipment status in the import area; identify incidents and ensure the resolution of incidents  Ensure all shipments are confirmed in a timely and accurate manner Requirements: 2 years of Ocean Import experience  Excellent attention to detail  Results driven  Flexible and reliable with a good attitude Good time management Benefits: 21 days holiday increasing one day for every year of service  Life insurance Team based bonus scheme  Pension scheme  This is a great opportunity to join an International organisation within the Logistics industry.
