Job Description
OT – Leyland House – Childrens Therapy Service
Mon – Friday full time hours based in the Community
Covering Chorley and South Ribble area
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments using a combination of departmental paperwork and standardized tools
* Triage new referrals through conversations with families to assess appropriateness and urgency using departmental proformas
* Carry out telephone consultations with parents to understand the child’s current needs, strengths, priorities, and goals
* Provide tailored signposting to universal and targeted resources where appropriate
* Deliver interventions and reviews in clinic, school, and home environments
* Contribute to service development and collaborative working within a multi-disciplinary teamBefore You Apply
