Registered Nursing Home Manager needed for a Care Home in Colchester
Salary: £65,000 per annum
Full Time Permanent
We are currently seeking a committed and experienced Registered Nursing Home Manager with strong leadership and management skills. The ideal candidate will have a fantastic background in care, along with a thorough understanding of CQC standards and regulations.
This 65 bedded nursing home offers modern facilities and is supported by a dedicated, friendly team of staff. With over 25 years of experience in providing person-centred care, the home is conveniently located near major transport links and within easy reach of the town centre. The home is spread across multiple wings, with bedrooms on the ground floor for residents with dementia and additional rooms on the first floor for individuals requiring nursing and/or dementia care.
Key requirements for this Nursing Home Manager Role:
To excel in this role, we are seeking a Nursing Home Manager with the following qualifications and qualities:
* Have a good understanding of CQC regulations and requirements, safeguarding and care plans
* Clinical supervision skills
* Experience of managing a large nursing home
* Experienced Nurse with current NMC pin is desirable

As a Nursing Home Manager, you will be a key leader within a caring and dedicated team. Your responsibilities will include:
* Being responsible for ensuring the very best person-centred care service is provided to our residents whilst promoting their interests and understanding their needs.
* Provide leadership to staff, meeting financial targets and regulatory compliance.
* Effectively managing your staff, providing guidance and on-going supervision and support, recruiting and onboarding new staff and continually develop and encourage your team.
* Collaborate with Quality and Governance Leads to maintain a safe service and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
* Good communication skills are essential to liaise with the residents’ families, friends, local authorities, and other healthcare professionals.
* Ensuring the company’s high standards are consistently maintained across the service.
* Support recruitment, retention, and development of the nursing and care staff team.
