NPI & Production Engineer – Leading Technology & Manufacturing
Location: West London
Salary: £40k-£45k
Are you an experienced NPI & Production Engineer looking for an exciting challenge in a cutting-edge technology company? Platform Recruitment has partnered with a leader in hardware and software engineering, specialising in electro-mechanical technology development.
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead New Product Introduction (NPI), ensuring smooth transitions from design to manufacture
+ Optimise manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality
+ Act as the first point of contact for technical support in production, troubleshooting issues and implementing design updates
+ Manage engineering change orders (ECOs), BOMs, and component lifecycles to maintain production efficiency
+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards and best manufacturing practices
Key Requirements
+ Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related discipline)
+ Experience in a production engineering, NPI, or manufacturing environment
+ Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing, process optimisation, and ISO 9001 compliance
+ Experience with engineering change management, product lifecycle management, and BOMs
+ Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills
