Job Description

This successful family owned Global Company in the Food industry are looking for a Product Development Assistant to join their NPD Team The Benefits : Permanent Role Hybrid working offered from their Northampton/Corby based offices A basic salary of up to £32,000 per annum 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays Death in service benefit from day 1 of 3 x annual salary Employee assistance programme and rewards scheme Pension BUPA and Cash plan after 3 months service. The Product Development Assistant will support the NPD team in delivering new products and for UK and EU Customers. The Product Development Assistant role will include Managing the UK market review schedule to keep the company informed of the Prepared Fruit Markets on a quarterly basis. To keep up to date with competitor developments and share with the team as required. Support with checking quality and assembling product samples for new product launches whilst working to specific dates for each product launch. Leading and managing customer artwork development for all customer accounts whilst keeping the Product Development Manager up to date with progress. Liaising with relevant departments and production sites throughout the artwork process prior to launch.Key skills, knowledge and experience required for this role are Food manufacturing and product development experience Ability to work across multiple cultures and work with many who have English as a second language.
