New Resource Recruitment are hiring a Mechanical/Multiskilled Engineer for a leading distribution company. If you’re passionate about keeping machines running at peak performance and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the role for you!
What You’ll Be Doing
* Reactive & Planned Maintenance – Diagnosing faults and keeping production moving
* Mechanical Repairs – Working on hydraulic, pneumatic & automated systems
* Installations & Upgrades – Supporting machine improvements and new projects
* Continuous Improvement – Reducing downtime and boosting efficiency
* Health & Safety Compliance – Ensuring a safe and efficient work environment
What We’re Looking For
* City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering
* Strong mechanical fault-finding & diagnostic skills
* Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, drives & inverters
* Ability to read engineering diagrams & work under pressure
* Some electrical knowledge (PLC fault-finding is a plus!)
* Bonus: Apprentice-trained (ONC/HNC)
* experience in manufacturing/print environments.
