Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician
Location: Southeast Wales
Salary: Up to £40,000 per year (DOE)
Shifts: Rotating three-shift pattern:
Days (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM)
Afternoons (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM)
Nights (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
About the Role:
We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on role ensures the efficient operation of factory equipment and assembly processes while maintaining high safety, quality, and efficiency standards. As part of a dynamic team, you'll troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and optimize machinery to ensure efficient production.
Perform equipment setup, operation, and minor preventative maintenance.
Monitor and test product quality, troubleshooting issues as needed.
Document production processes to meet internal and regulatory standards.
Conduct regular equipment inspections, cleaning, and routine maintenance.
Identify and address deviations in processes or product quality.
Maintain maintenance logs and provide productivity and incident reports.
Apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste in production.
Ensure the work area is safe, clean, and well-maintained.
Skills and Attributes:
Time-served engineer with a minimum HNC/HND qualification in an Engineering discipline.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Confident decision-maker with a focus on cost-effective solutions.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
