Multi-Skilled Engineer Electrical Bias Location: Middlesbrough Salary: £43,000 per annum Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts, 4 on 4 off (rotating days and nights) Are you a skilled engineer with an electrical bias looking to make a real difference? This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Engineering Team at our Middlesbrough site. What You'll Be Doing: Responding quickly to machine breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime. Carrying out maintenance and repairs on equipment, including electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors. Performing installations, fault-finding, inspections, and servicing. Supporting stock management for critical replacement parts. Collaborating with contractors and production teams to ensure safe and efficient operations. Recommending and implementing improvements for equipment safety, reliability, and efficiency. Engaging in planned preventative maintenance and project improvement schemes. Taking part in training and self-development to enhance your skills and support the team effectively. What We're Looking For: A strong engineering background with an electrical bias. 2+ years' experience as a time-served Engineer in manufacturing or maintenance (food sector experience is a bonus). Excellent fault-finding and preventative maintenance skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
