About the Role
My Client is on the lookout for an innovative Multi Product Designer to join the talented team based in the stunning surroundings of Newquay. In this pivotal role, you'll have the chance to influence the design language of a brand that prides itself on quality craftsmanship and ethical practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Trend Spotting: Dive deep into the fashion landscape to identify emerging trends and consumer preferences, ensuring your designs resonate with today's discerning shoppers.
* Mood Boards & Colour Concepts: Craft compelling mood boards and colour stories that reflect the essence of the season while staying true to the brand’s ethos.
* Competitive Analysis: Study market leaders and competitors to pinpoint their unique position within the womenswear market and harness insights to drive innovation.
* Sourcing Strategy: Collaborate with suppliers to create detailed sourcing boards, ensuring that they meet our production timelines without compromising on quality.
* Organised Libraries: Establish and maintain comprehensive libraries for fabrics, trims, and specifications, providing a solid foundation for your creative process.
* Product Development Oversight: From the initial concept to final production, work closely with product teams to tackle challenges and optimise designs for manufacturability.
* Supplier Engagement: Develop and nurture relationships with suppliers, facilitating open communication and swift resolutions to any issues that arise.
* Inspirational Travel: Travel nationally and internationally to gather design inspiration, market insights, and establish connections within the industry.
* Collaborative Presentations: Share your seasonal concepts and designs with the wider team, encouraging constructive feedback and collaborative growth.
* Quality Control Partnership: Partner with the garment technical team to ensure every piece meets our high standards for fit, quality, and design integrity. About you
About you
You are a passionate designer with at least 3 years of experience in womenswear. You have a strong command of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, and you thrive in fast-paced environments. Your communication and presentation skills shine when you share your seasonal boards and designs with the team.
