MuleSoft Developer - SC Cleared
Location: Largely remote with client in Belfast
Rate: £500 a day (Inside IR35)
A global IT consultancy are looking for an SC Cleared MuleSoft Developer to join their team, working with a public sector body on a large-scale digital transformation program. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying integration solutions that connect multiple enterprise systems, applications, and data sources. You will work on cutting-edge API-led connectivity, enhancing the organization's agility and scalability.
You will:
Design, develop, and implement MuleSoft APIs and integrations to support digital transformation initiatives.
Collaborate with business and technology teams to understand integration requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Develop API-led connectivity solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
Create and maintain RAML and OpenAPI specifications for RESTful APIs.
Ensure best practices in API security, governance, and performance optimization.
Your skills and experience
2+ years of experience in MuleSoft development (Mule 4 preferred).
Strong expertise in API development, microservices architecture, and integration patterns.
Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Anypoint Studio.
Ideally proficiency in DataWeave, RAML, JSON, XML, SOAP, and RESTful services.
Hands-on experience with MuleSoft connectors, transformations, and message processors.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and on-prem hybrid integrations.
Preferred Qualifications
MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1 (Mule 4) or higher.
