Our client school in South Norwood is seeking a dedicated and passionate Motor Mechanics Instructor to support learners aged 14–19 with a range of additional needs, including behavioural, emotional, and social communication difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and practical motor mechanics lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) and SEN (Special Educational Needs).
Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
Motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
Collaborate with other staff and professionals to provide holistic support.
Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
Requirements:
Qualified instructor with experience in teaching motor mechanics.
Proven ability to work with students with SEMH or SEN.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for working with young people.
Ability to adapt to different learning environments and needs.
Right to work in the UK.
Enhanced child-only DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one).
