Job Description
Remote but initial training in the South East UK. Clark James Insurance Recruitment are working with a prestigious, leading and established Motor Insurance Claims business currently recruiting for an experienced Motor Claims Engineer in the Insurance industry.
This is a mainly office/home based desktop role assessing prospects of repair v total loss utilising engineering tools available as well as mitigating ancillary claim spend on hire, storage and recovery charges.
Key Skills and Knowledge
* Knowledge of vehicle image estimating systems
* Experience of agreeing and negotiating damage repair costs
* Working knowledge and application of repair methods and times
* Detailed understanding of vehicle valuations and total loss negotiation methods
* Understanding and application of salvage categories and management
You will have an understanding of Audatex and Glassmatix and knowledge of Thatcham Escribe would be advantageous but not essential.
