Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician / mot tester to join our main dealer team in Blackpool.
Monday - Friday 08.30 - 17.00 Every other Saturday morning 08.30 - 12 on a team rota.
With a competitive basic salary of £30,000 + based on experience more if YOU arethe right candidate, With a uncapped Ote including a bonus structure.
As a Vehicle Technician / mot tester you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to the repair, maintenance and servicing of vehicles of all makes and models. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work with power tools and diagnostic equipment.
You will need your own tools and a full driving licence. imi/nvq certification and mot licence
Duties:
- Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks according to established guidelines
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using appropriate tools and equipment
- Inspect vehicles for damage or defects and recommend necessary repairs
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed on vehicles
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns
Skills:
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for vehicle repairs
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
