We are looking for a highly motivated Mortgage Advisor to join our fast paced, growing, successful Mortgage team. (You can be fully remote based anywhere within the UK)
The Mortgage Advisor will work closely with our team to help customers with their requirements whilst taking care of all their mortgage and protection needs.

Key responsibilities of a Mortgage Advisor:
Building relationships with the introducers through training and support
Take part in regular team meetings to discuss best practice and build elationships
Providing advice on a range of products and services to meet our customers’ needs
You will also be attracting new customers and business whilst being motivated to achieve professional goals within a result-driven environment
Skills and experience required to be a successful Mortgage Advisor:
Resilient, positive and friendly attitude
Strong track record in generating new sales and following through to completions
Motivated to be successful
Always doing the right thing by the customer
Able to work under pressure and build strong alliances
CeMap qualified or Equivalent with CAS status and at least 12 months experience
Full UK Driving Licence
Key Accountabilities
Interaction with both internal and external customers to discuss application requirements and progress through the customer journey sharing detailed information to support a positive customer experience
To provide appropriate and suitable advice to customers in line with regulatory and company requirements
To conduct all forms of customer contact in a professional manner, acting with integrity at all times, ensuring that good customer outcomes are achieved.
Proactively look for and suggest areas of improvement to enhance the delivery of a good customer journey and improve department performance
Ensure all processing is made within regulatory standards, aligned with business needs and deliver to the lending risk strategy
Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to
Ensure excellent customer service
Meet agreed SLAs for processing mortgage applications through proactive management of pipeline
Key Knowledge Skills & Experience
Detailed knowledge and understanding of the MCOB regulatory advised framework for the provision of advice on first and second charge mortgages.
A working knowledge of the mortgage industry.
Previous experience of working within a regulated new business environment, preferably in the origination and processing of first and / or second mortgage applications.
Qualifications required
* CeMAP units 1, 2 and 3.
Experience:
* Mortgage Advice: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
* CeMAP and CAS Status (required)
