Temp to perm opportunity
Travel across the UK, with overnight allowances
Favourable day shifts
We are seeking a Labourer / Groundskeeper for an exciting new opportunity with a sports facilities company based out of Lea Marston.
This role would require any successful applicants to travel across the country to help apply line markings on a wide range of sports pitches. As such, this would suit somebody with a background in soft landscaping, lawn maintenance or turf management. Note that we are only seeking people with a flexible approach to working patterns, who can work on a mobile basis in towns and cities across England and Wales.
In order to be successful for our mobile Groundskeeper role, you will ideally have the following attributes:
Good sense of humour and ability to form quick bonds with your colleagues
Willingness to stay overnight in accordance with the locations and time constraints of certain jobs
Happy to work outdoors 100% of the time – with the exception of travel time in the company vehicle
CSCS card preferred, but not essential as the company may put you through relevant trainings
Must either have a DBS certificate – or happy to be put through a check. This is because you may be required to work in schools / leisure centres etc
Good communicator and sense of initiative
Full UK Driving Licence (for sharing duties of driving the company van as & when required)
If anyone has experience with airless paint sprayers that would be beneficial but not essential
Any relatable experience in a landscaping, turfing, gardening or pitch maintenance role
Rate of pay: £12.50- £12.75 per hour
Hours of work: 08:00 – 18:00 Monday to Friday are standard hours (Not including travel which is all over UK including overnight stays)
