Job Description
Are you a Mobile Fitter with a passion for hydraulics and electrical systems? Do you have at least 1 year of experience and enjoy the challenge of maintaining and repairing machinery? If so, we want you to join this growing team in Newark.

You’ll work on a variety of top-tier plant machinery, including well-known piling rig brands such as Soilmec, Bauers, Casagrandes, Liebherr, and Junttans. Plus, you’ll receive your own mobile fitting van, giving you the flexibility to travel across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
* Inspect all machinery coming in and out of the site.
* Complete pre-hire inspection sheets and distribute them with the relevant machinery.
* Store inspection sheets in the correct machine files.
* Perform post-hire inspections, identifying and recording damages or faults.
* Work closely with the depot supervisor to prioritize and plan workloads.
* Order necessary spare parts from stores.
* Fault find and carry out regular servicing and maintenance operations.
* Review and record faults from weekly maintenance sheets, assisting in planning repairs.
* Update fleet hours and servicing data on the dashboard.
* Maintain accurate records of all rigs in line with STEQ processes.
* Attend breakdowns as needed by the business.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Advanced understanding of hydraulics and electrical systems.
* At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Sound understanding of health and safety procedures.
* Practical and physical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, with a friendly yet professional demeanor.
* Ability to remain organizsd and calm under pressure.
* Proactive, flexible, and positive approach to work.
* Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Willingness to travel across the UK and stay away from home as required.
