AN EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY FOR A TECHNICAL ASSESSOR, MOBILE CHEMIST OR SITE CHEMIST WITH HAZARDOUS WASTE MANAGEMENT SECTOR EXPERIENCE
TITLE: Mobile Chemist - Technical Sites / Hazardous Waste
SALARY: Circa £28,000-£38,000 Depending on Hazardous Waste Sector Experience plus Company Vehicle & Benefits
LOCATION: Mobile Role – You will be based between Wirral, Ellesmere Port, Rochdale and Preston
PREVIOUS ROLES MAY HAVE BEEN: Chempac, Reception Chemist, Technical Coordinator – Hazardous Waste Technical Assessor, Technical Support Chemist, Site Chemist, Hazpack Chemist, Mobile Chemist,
ROLE: Mobile Chemist - Technical Sites / Hazardous Waste
Carrying out tasks at off-site locations, including customer facilities, which may involve travel and overnight stays.
Providing specialized technical support services such as waste management, packaging, and material collection to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
Inspecting and verifying waste materials for adherence to regulations, checking container integrity, and suitability for transport, while ensuring all associated documentation is accurate and complete.
Gathering and recording detailed information to enable immediate removal of waste when possible, ensuring proper routing to compliant disposal facilities.
Uploading comprehensive data into company systems to facilitate seamless processing and acceptance of waste materials at designated operational sites.
EXPERIENCE: Mobile Chemist - Technical Sites / Hazardous Waste
Experience working with hazardous waste is essential, ideally working as a Hazardous Waste Site Chemist, Mobile Chemist or as a Technical Assessor
You will have a good standard of verbal and written communication, and be competent in Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience of directly interfacing with a client would be desirable.
YOU WILL HAVE HNC in Chemistry or higher, other related science degrees
You MUST have a UK Driving Licence
Useful qualifications:
DGSA, WM3 / Classification oof Waste, WAMITAB COTC, IOSH of NEBOSH,
