Merchandising Representative – Fixings & Fastenings Job Title: Merchandising Representative – Fixings & Fastenings Industry Sector: Merchandiser, Merchandising, Product Specialist, Internal Sales, Trade Counter Sales, Counter Sales, Sales Negotiator, Area Sales Manager, Field Sales, Fasteners, Fixings, Nuts & Bolts, Building Products, Tools, Power Tools, Fixings Distributors, Fastener Distributors, End Users, End User Clients, Manufacturing, Engineering, Construction, Builders Merchants, National Merchants, Independent Merchants, Merchants, Buying Groups Area: Midlands Remuneration: £30,000 + profit related company bonus Benefits: Ford Kuga company car & comprehensive benefits package The role Merchandising Representative – Fixings & Fastenings will involve: * Field sales position dealing with a high quality range of fixings & fasteners * Your time will be spent selling into both national & regional builders merchants such as: MKM, Huws Gray, Travis Perkins etc. * Majority of your time will be spent working with existing customers ensuring that they have the correct training, stock and point of sale * Liaising with customers to maximise their product range in store, whilst providing support and product demonstrations where require * Merchandising & stock cleansing in both the shops and trade counters * Attend and set up at trade shows and break them down afterwards The ideal applicant will be a Merchandising Representative – Fixings & Fastenings who: * Must have experience working within a builder’s merchant: Internal Sales, Sales Negotiator, Yard Assistant, Customer Service, Branch Manager etc. * Ideal for someone to look to step up into their first field sales position * Ideally have experience with fixings & fasteners (not essential) * Must be physically fit, able to load vans with shop materials * Must be hungry, enthusiastic and driven * Must have high attention to detail * UK Driving License * IT Literate Industry Sector: Merchandiser, Merchandising, Product Specialist, Internal Sales, Trade Counter Sales, Counter Sales, Sales Negotiator, Area Sales Manager, Field Sales, Fasteners, Fixings, Nuts & Bolts, Building Products, Tools, Power Tools, Fixings Distributors, Fastener Distributors, End Users, End User Clients, Manufacturing, Engineering, Construction, Builders Merchants, National Merchants, Independent Merchants, Merchants, Buying Groups
