Job Description

Are you experienced in Mechanical test and inspection and looking for a days based role? Our client is seeking a Mechanical Test or Inspection Engineer to join their team. This role is integral to ensuring the safety and quality of mechanical products and sub-assemblies through meticulous testing, inspection, and calibration processes. The successful candidate will work across a range of mechanical disciplines, from aerodynamics and fluid dynamics to sub-assembly checks, playing a vital role in delivering reliable, high-performance products to customers. Responsibilities: * Perform safe and accurate testing of mechanical products and sub-assemblies in accordance with ISO9001 standards and team priorities. * Log and analyze test data for future reference and continuous improvement. * Diagnose faults down to the component level and refine test methods as needed. * Inspect incoming items and manufactured parts, approving or rejecting them based on design specifications. * Maintain accurate records of bookings and processes using internal systems. Candidate Requirements: Essential: * Proven experience in mechanical testing or inspection. * Ability to interpret engineering drawings and diagnose mechanical faults. * Attention to detail, a flexible mindset, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
