Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Test Engineer for a busy Engineering Manufacturing company based in Sandiacre.
Your main role will be finishing and testing sub-assemblies and completed products, to relevant test methods in accordance with ISO9001 focused mainly on mechanical disciplines.
The work is varied, and you will have an excellent eye for detail, a solid base understanding of mechanical principles, interpretation of engineering drawings/data, and a positive attitude towards an ever-changing work schedule.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Previous test experience in a relevant mechanical/inspection background (Quality Assurance / QA Engineer / Test Engineer)
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and diagnose faults
Minimum of HNC in Mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
Fitting, assembly, or prototype build experience This role is working 37 hours per week normal days Monday to Friday with a early finish on a Friday.
The role is offering a salary of £32,760 plus benefits including bonus as well as the usual pension, generous holidays and free parking, etc.
