Job Description
Blocktech MEP are looking on behalf of their client for a Mechanical Site Supervisor ideally possessing an associated trade qualification (M&E, pipe welding/fitting, building services, HVAC, groundworks / civil works)
Your role will be to visit/supervise multiple construction sites around the UK and liaise with site personnel, Project Managers, and client representatives to deliver successful installations smoothly, on time and within a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with contract team regarding current projects and status.
* Liaise with site teams to check/monitor Health & Safety Compliance.
* Carrying out site toolbox talks, & mentor installers
* Participating in H&S meetings and site audits to ensure team working to client RAMS,
* Attend site meetings to assist contracts team.
* Communication between site teams and office.
* Assisting with Plant Hires/Off Hires, Deliveries & site clearances.
* Monitoring/Checking Installer Plant & Tool certifications, & PPE suitability.
* Conduct site surveys as directed by the Contracts Team
* Commissioning duties to completed installations.
* Alarm Wire Surveys as directed by Contracts Team.
Required Skills / Experience
* SSSTS / SMSTS /CSCS/ISOH
* CPCS Lift Supervisor
* Must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Must have excellent communication skills at all levels.
* Must be hardworking, reliable and possess a good work ethic.
* Must be able to deal with multiple projects simultaneously.
If successful, you will receive the following.
* 8:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday
* £6000 Car allowance
* 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
