Mechanical Project Manager
Location: Manchester
Project Type: Commercial Fit-Out
Rate: £310 per day
Contract Duration: April - October
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager for a Commercial Fit-Out scheme in Manchester. This is a key project with one of our best business partners, involving the installation of new Air Handling Units (AHUs), ductwork, and VRV Air Conditioning packages.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the mechanical aspects of the commercial fit-out, ensuring all works are completed to specification and within the required timeframes.
* Manage subcontractors and coordinate with the project team to ensure smooth execution.
* Ensure the installation of AHUs, ductwork, and VRV systems meets quality and safety standards.
* Monitor project progress, costs, and timelines, and report regularly to senior management.
* Address and resolve any technical or operational issues that arise on-site.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager, preferably in commercial fit-out projects.
* Strong knowledge of AHUs, ductwork, and VRV Air Conditioning systems.
* Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple tasks and teams.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and project teams.
Contract Details:
* Location: Manchester.
* Rate: £310 per day.
* Start Date: April.
