Job Description
Parkinson Gray Associates have been engaged by a long-standing Client to assist them with their recruitment of an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer (mechanical building services - HVAC).
Our Client is a well-established building services contractor, based in South Yorkshire. Working on a good range of projects, they are well known as a good place to work, with many of their staff having worked with them for well over ten years. Frequently, when they hire, they are doing so because of the retirement of staff who have spent a large amount of their working life within the business.
As Mechanical Project Engineer you will be responsible for all aspects of project delivery. Once the project has been successfully tendered for and won you will take it all the way through to completion - from inception to hand over. This is an independent MEP contractor and does not employ Quantity Surveyors, therefore we are looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer who can deal with Intrim applications as well as other duties that might usually be completed by a QS.
For this role we are looking for a seasoned mechanical building services professional, with the skills, experience and aptitude to make an immediate impact with minimal supervision. We would welcome applications from Candidates with a background in a similar environment, a medium sized independent MEP contractor, or from one of the large national “tier one” contractors. What is essential is that you have a proven track record of project delivery and be looking to join a small but tight knit team.
