A prestigious international engineering company specializing in automated material handling systems is looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer to join their dynamic team at Heathrow. This client-facing role offers exceptional career development potential.
THE ROLE:
Design mechanical systems for large-scale automation projects
Create detailed layouts for manufacturing and installation
Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
Coordinate with customers and other engineering disciplines
Present design solutions to clients and stakeholders
Manage third-party equipment integration
THE CANDIDATE:
Degree/HND qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Minimum 2 years' experience in automated material handling systems
Strong 2D & 3D AutoCAD skills (Navisworks/Revit/BIM advantageous)
Knowledge of building interfaces and structural elements
Understanding of Machinery Safety Standards
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Willing to travel occasionally (UK and abroad)
