Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Initial 3-month contract – extension likely Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire Rate: £30.00 - £32.00p/h (Limited - Outside IR35/ PAYE/ Umbrella) Shifts: Double Days - 6-2/ 2-10 Heavy Industrial / manufacturing / process / mechanical I am currently recruiting for a mechanical maintenance engineer on a contract basis for a key client based in the Bradford, West Yorkshire area. They specialise in the process of heavy-duty materials operating in the textile industry. The role of Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will involve the following: Reactive breakdowns & PPM work Working on capital plant and machinery such as conveyors, pumps, gearboxes water treatment, bearings etc Working to safety standards within an industrial process environment Ensuring the required data is logged and reported as per internal process Contribute to continuous Improvement As Maintenance Engineer you will need the following skills and attributes: Mechanical engineering time served apprenticeship or equivalent Welding to tight tolerances (preferable) Industrial manufacturing environment – reactive / work under pressure Pro-active, driven, ability to work independently Attention to detail, suggest improvements The benefits of working for this company will include: Outside IR35 Ltd co. suitable Potential for extensions Needs own tools Small team, independent role, work autonomously, responsible person I am looking to speak to talented mechanical maintenance engineers who are looking for a rewarding and challenging contract position.
