Position Summary:
We are looking for an Mechanical Fitter to join a small but busy team responsible for the fabrication and repair of various pieces of rail machinery / freight wagons and locomotives.
Candidates will be working with various pieces of machinery, such as Lathes, Boring Machines, Pillar Drills.
Person Profile/Experience:
We are looking for an experienced mechanical or maintenance fitter with machining experience.
A Wide variety of experiences will be considered.
Ideally experience working on Rail Wagons, rolling stock, HGV or heavy mobile plant, ex-Military with a suitable technical/engineering background encouraged to apply.
Candidates will have:
Mechanical Fitting Experience
Machining Experience (Desirable)
