Full time working hours over a four-day working week. Every Friday off
Monday - Thursday 07.30 - 16.50pm. 36 hours a week
Salary between £24,700 - £26,000 per annum. Dependent on experience
Duties:
This Position is Part Quality inspection and Part production
Quality Duties:
First off and batch inspections of machined metallic and not metallic parts using traditional measuring equipment.
Ability to be able to read mechanical engineering drawings is an advantage.
I.e. micrometer and vernier.
A knowledge of Keyence measurement systems would be an advantage.
The workshop duties:
·To process all parts that require protective wrapping and packing in accordance with company procedures, include part marking relevant parts as dictated by the drawing requirements.
·Ultrasonically clean any parts that need cleaning prior to packing
·To assemble and scan in all kits using the issued Bill of Materials for sales orders in accordance company procedures.
·To assemble and build in accordance with drawing instructions all tooling assemblies that is required for tooling sales orders.
·To inspect all tooling parts in accordance with company procedures.
·To grit parts that needs silicon carbide gritting.
