Looking to take the next step in your career with a leading Mechanical & Electrical Design & Installation specialist near Derby.? our client is on the lookout for a Junior or an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join their team!
As a Mechanical Estimator your responsibilities would typically revolve around estimating costs for mechanical projects within the company.
This includes:
Cost Estimation: Calculating the costs involved in mechanical projects based on technical drawings, specifications, and other project requirements.
Bid Preparation: Helping to prepare bids and proposals for mechanical installation projects.
Material and Labor Analysis: Analysing materials, labour, and time requirements for projects to determine accurate cost estimates.
Project Coordination: Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate estimation and smooth project execution.
Documentation: Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to estimates and bids.
Tender Processes: Participating in tender processes, reviewing tender documents, and providing input into bid strategies.
Cost Control: Assisting in cost control activities throughout the project lifecycle to ensure projects remain within budget.
