Job Description
DC Personnel is recruiting for a permanent Mechanical engineer (Lift Technician) for a leader in its field based in the East Midlands area.
Salary upto £35k per annum DOE

What we are looking for
You will be technically proficient and an enthusiastic technician, with a solid range of engineering skills, transferable to working with lifts.
You will support the lead engineer at our warehouse as well as attend site to provide critical support on a range of lift installation jobs.
will have a strong understanding of electrical principles, technical skills, and a willingness to learn and grow in the field.
You will assist in various engineering tasks, from wiring panels to preparing documentation and will be willing to help on a range of jobs from diagnosis and repair to full installation and modernisations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design, installation, and troubleshooting of lift control panels, door operators and drives
Support the lead engineer in interpreting wiring diagrams and wiring panels
Perform routine electrical tests and measurements to ensure system functionality and safety
Assembly, wiring, and maintenance of electrical components and systems
Document test results, maintain accurate records, and assist in the preparation of reports for clients or stakeholders.
General warehouse housekeeping
Excellent Timekeeping & reliability
Ability to work well under pressure
Clear & concise communication skills
