Mechanical Engineer
Commutable from Sudbury, Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Diss
Up to £42,500 DOE
We're looking for a mechanically biased engineer to join a 24/7 engineering team supporting a busy manufacturing site.
The Role:
You'll help keep the site running smoothly by maintaining equipment, responding to breakdowns, and supporting ongoing improvements across production and site services. The team are well established and are expanding hence the reason for the added engineers. This is working on a days and nights shift, for a positive work life balance.
Key Duties:
Planned maintenance and small projects
Fast, hands-on response to breakdowns
Support uptime and efficiency improvementsWhat You'll Need:
Mechanically trained or part-engineer trained
Proactive and able to work independently
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment either a food or FMCG background
Experience in TPM/PPM workWhat's on Offer:
Strong team support to help with your onboarding.
