Description
Key Responsibilities
Perform a full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture and implement)
Design and provide drawings for systems and components that meet needs and requirements.
Confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods; testing properties.
Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components.
Supports the Production and Commissioning Departments during equipment build and installation.
Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and system capabilities; confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Test and evaluate theoretical designs
Identify, formulate and produce effective solutions to emerging problems
Evaluate final product's overall performance, reliability and safety
Alter and modify design to meet requirements and to eliminate malfunctions
Prepare product reports and documentation including but not limited to operational manuals, produce specifications, etc.
Engage in lifelong learning and develop new theories or methods
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededProfile
Successful Candidate
Working experience with product lifecycle management, finite element analysis and computational fluid dynamics
Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
Strong technical writing skills
Desirable skills, experience, and competence
Preferably 5 years proven working experience in mechanical engineering
Manufacturing experience
Hands-on experience with computer-aided engineering and computer-aided manufacturing
Experience with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools. Preferably Solid Works (e.g., AutoCAD or other)
Adequate knowledge of engineering analysis tools
Mathematical computing and analysis tools knowledge
Solid understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science etc.Job Offer
