About the Role
Join our client's Crane Maintenance Team, supporting cutting-edge operations in a fast-paced and diverse environment. You'll work with machinery pivotal to industries like construction and home appliances, ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform mechanical maintenance, overhauls, and repairs on cranes and production line equipment.
Adhere to strict Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on Overhead Travelling Cranes.
Assist in designing and producing spare parts for crane equipment.
Participate in machinery refurbishment and Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives.
Conduct Zone Safety audits and Risk Assessments.
Take part in auxiliary and downtime activities as required.
What We're Looking For
Experience in the steel or construction industry.
NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering is desirable.
Exceptional communication and teamwork skills in multidisciplinary settings.
Strong risk assessment abilities and a proactive approach to safety.
