Job Description
Our client, a prominent organisation in the nuclear sector, is currently seeking two skilled Mech Fitter to join their team on a contract basis in Burghfield.
Key Responsibilities:
Performing mechanical fitting tasks to support nuclear project requirements
Ensuring all work complies with safety and quality standards
Conducting equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections as needed
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Collaborating with a team to complete project deliverables efficiently
Maintaining accurate records of work performed and materials used
Adhering to all regulatory and project-specific requirements
Job Requirements:
Experience in mechanical fitting within the nuclear sector
SC Clearance (Security Clearance) is essential
A valid CSCS card
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components
Ability to work effectively in a high-security environment
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
