Job Description
Laser Scanning Surveyor – Leica RTC360
Permanent
Location – Leicestershire
Salary - Negotiable depending on experience + Company Car
An exciting opportunity has become available at a well-established surveying practice based in Leicestershire. This company specializes in providing a wide range of surveying services, including Measured Building Surveys, Topographic and Land Surveys, 3D Laser Scanning, Measured Elevation Surveys, GPS surveys, Hidden Utility Surveys, and Flood Risk Assessment Surveys.
Due to a growing workload, they are looking for an experienced surveyor or measured building surveyor with expertise in laser scanning. The ideal candidate should be proficient with the Leica RTC laser scanner, able to perform surveys and scans independently, and capable of training team members on the equipment. Previous experience with another surveying company is highly desirable.
Responsibility & Duties
* Carrying out Land and Measured Building surveys
* Post-processing work
* Carry out laser scans using Leica RTC360
* Full Building Elevation Surveys
* Produce topographical surveys and monitor & setting out surveys
* Daily use of AutoCAD
* Site Visits
Experience & Qualification
* Competent user of survey instrumentation – GPS, Total Stations, 3D scanner
* Competent user & understanding of AutoCAD & Leica RTC
* (MBS) Measured Building or topographical Surveys would be an advantage
* Civils, Construction or Surveying background ideal
* Must hold a UK Driving License
* The ability to use LSS for processing desirable
* Post registration for laser scanning, Cyclone Core, Register 360 desirable
