Job Description

SEN Maths Teacher- KS4 & 5 Sennen Education are working with a lovely SEN and SEMH specialist school in Oldham, to recruit for a Maths Teacher across KS4 and KS5. The role will be focused on preparing the young people in the school for the next steps in their life, in order to become sucessful members of the community. As a Maths teacher, you will equip them with essential skills and enhance their confidence. The children and young people you will be working with have SEN and SEMH needs, and the school are ideally looking for someone with experience in specialist educational settings. Any experience supporting SEN learners in a mainstream setting would also be considered. For this role, you must have- * Proof of QTS * Experience in teaching Maths to a secondary level * An Enhanced DBS on the update service Responsbilities- * Delivering and planning engaging lessons, to suit learners of a range of abilities. * Instill confidence in the young people you teach, and provide them with the Maths skills they need for their future. * Strong behaviour management skills, and the ability to actively engage learners in their academic development. * You will provide feedback to SLT and parents about the young people's progress and development.
