Are you an ambitious and inspiring Teacher of Mathematics seeking your next challenge?
We are looking for an ambitious and inspiring Teacher of Maths to assist the Head of Maths with running the department. The successful candidate will inspire excellence in a school known for exceptional outcomes, despite the challenges of its community context.
Our Maths Department
At Key Stage 3, we implement a Mastery Curriculum, in partnership with the Maths Hub, to build strong foundations for all students. Our curriculum ensures a clear progression to Key Stage 4, where outcomes are consistently strong. Many students go on to study A-Level Mathematics, with around 60 per year group, and Further Maths is also offered to those pursuing maths-related university courses.
We focus on developing students' mathematical understanding and reasoning, helping them engage with mathematical language, symbols, and notation, while fostering a love for the subject.
About the Role:
* Work closely with the Head of Maths to run the department.
* Deliver a high-quality curriculum at KS3 - KS5, driving excellent outcomes for all students.
