Job Description

Materials Controller – £30K - £32K – Ashby De La Zouch Have you worked as a Materials Controller? Have you worked in stock control? Are you organised? What’s the Opportunity? We are supporting a local company in the hunt for an experienced Materials Controller to join there established team. You will be integral in ensuring that the production department runs effectively with the support of inventory, supplier negotiation and administration. What you’ll be doing as a Materials Controller, but not limited to; * Being responsible for managing and optimizing the flow of materials within the company. Overseeing the procurement, storage, distribution, and tracking of materials to support * Maintaining accurate inventory records and tracks all transactions. * Conducting regular cycle counts and comprehensive inventory audits while implementing effective inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies * Monitoring material usage to forecast demand * Working closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials * Supervising storage, labelling, and organization of materials * Collaborating with production teams to ensure materials are available as per the production schedule * Adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirement As a Materials Controller you will be * Able to manage your workload effectively * Strong communicator * You will have worked in a similar role * Physically fit as this is a hands on role What’s in it for you as a Materials Controller? * Company that can provide longevity * Great Company benefits to include life assurance * Permanent position * Monday to Friday Days Interested?
