We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Loader on Nights to join our team in a dynamic factory environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation , this position involves heavy lifting, materials handling, and the use of various equipment to load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities for a loader on Nights.
* Operate Overhead Crane and other machinery to load and unload steel from lorries.
* Accurately build and assemble pallets for shipping, ensuring proper weight distribution.
* Manage inventory using a Factory management system to track incoming and outgoing shipments.
* Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including checking for damages and verifying quantities.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
* Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
* Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
Skills for a loader on nights.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
* Experience in shipping and receiving processes within a factory setting.
* Competence in loading and unloading goods safely using appropriate techniques.
* Familiarity with materials handling best practices to minimize damage during transport.
* Previous experience working in a steel factory environment is advantageous but not essential.
Working Hours:
* Static night shift - 4 day work week
