Job Description
Major Recruitment are recruiting Machine Operative near Thirsk.
Starting salary: £15.97
Your Key Responsibilities:
Weighing, mixing and packing of ingredients branches.
Powder and Oil blending using semi-automated/automated mixing equipment;
Packing of pre-blended powders into bags/boxes/sacks (up to 25kg) as required.
Achieve KPIs and personal competencies;
Updating and maintaining documentation and records;
Work as a team to produce and execute the weekly production plan. You bring:
Practical problem-solving skills;
HACCP/good hygiene and housekeeping;
Team working and collaboration skills;
Previous production experience in a food manufacturing environment;
Effective communication skills;
A results-focused mentality. Shift Pattern:
You will be required to work the shift pattern. Each shift will be for 8 hours and 15 minutes, including a 30-minute unpaid break. The details of the shift pattern is as given below:
Week 1 - 06.00 to 14.15 (Morning shift)
Week 2 - 14.00 to 22:15 (Afternoon shift)
