Manufacturing Operative - Hengoed
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Operative to join our client in Hengoed. In this role, you will be responsible for manufacturing PEG-based products in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate safely, ensuring your own safety and that of others in the workplace.
Dispense raw materials and operate the computerised dispensing system accurately.
Collect and relocate materials from storage as needed.
Maintain accurate stock records, ensuring timely data entry into the JD Edwards system.
Operate a variety of manufacturing equipment and processes according to Job Card instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Complete all documentation promptly and accurately to meet regulatory standards.
Calibrate equipment as per the set schedule and complete reports accordingly.
Maintain cleanliness of manufacturing areas and equipment to prevent cross-contamination.
Safely operate forklift trucks to transfer materials and products within the facility.
Adhere to all Health & Safety protocols and use provided safety aids.
Support the training of new team members.
Carry out additional tasks as required by the Team Leader or Manufacturing Manager.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
Strong understanding of GMP principles.
Ability to operate, disassemble, and rebuild manufacturing machinery.
Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
Manual handling skills and awareness of best practices.
Forklift truck driving experience.
Understanding of chemical handling and associated safety precautions.
