Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to help improve site performance and effiencies helping manage the calibration, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing and production equipment at a leading operational site. This role focuses on driving operational efficiency through Lean manufacturing tools while ensuring equipment meets all regulatory compliance and operational standards. Key Responsibilities
* Apply Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to resolve equipment issues and implement corrective and preventative actions.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives using tools like Kaizen, 5S, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) to enhance production processes.
* Implement and sustain best practices for production equipment settings and training programs.
* Lead projects focused on automation and process improvements to support future business investments.
* Supervise contractors and service engineers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
* Schedule and coordinate service work to align with production demands.
* Manage the engineering asset database.
* Drive assigned capital expenditure projects from concept to completion.
* Comply with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Experience
* HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
* Proven experience in highly regulated manufacturing environments.
* Strong understanding of regulated manufacturing standards.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other IT tools for asset management and reporting.
* Demonstrated success in process improvement projects and efficiency initiatives.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams and external stakeholders.
* Willingness to participate in an on-call rota; candidates should live within a one-hour commute to the siteBefore You Apply
