Manual Miller & Turner
Hemel Hempstead (with travel to Aylesbury as required)
Competitive salary – DOE
Monday to Friday | Ad hoc available
We’re working with a long-established precision engineering business that is looking to bring a skilled Manual Miller & Turner into their growing team. Based primarily in Hemel Hempstead, you will also be required to work from their Aylesbury site when needed – flexibility is key.
️ The Role:
Operating manual milling machines and lathes
Producing precision-engineered components to technical drawings
Working with a range of materials including mild steel, stainless, and aluminium
Maintaining high standards of quality and safety throughout the machining process
Occasionally assisting with other workshop duties as required
✅ Requirements:
Proven experience with manual milling and turning
Confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings
Ability to work independently and to tight tolerances
Willingness to travel between Hemel Hempstead and Aylesbury
Reliable, punctual, and with a strong work ethic
A driving licence and own transport would be advantageous due to the split-site nature of the role.
