Job Description
Due to an exciting opportunity Senior Salmon are looking for a Manual Machinist / Toolmaker to join our clients team on a permanent basis in their manufacturing facility.
As the Toolmaker you will be responsible fo carrying out a hands-on role in tooling management and the maintenance process. You will take ownership for the diagnosis, fault-finding, repair and refurbishing of all tooling.
Toolmaker Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Servicing, repairing and maintaining new and existing tooling.
- Machining and refinishing tooling to a high standard
- Repairing tooling failures and working to PPM's.
You must have experience in Bench work, including Manual turning, milling and grinding and be able to read technical drawings
Knowledge of progression press tools, CAD and wire EDM would be an advantage but not requiredBefore You Apply
