NeuroSupport services are currently recruiting Support Workers and Healthcare Assistants with a background of Brain Injury and Mental health experience to support services users with an acquired Brain Injury. Our service aims to support rehabilitation and in enabling people to optimise independence and quality of life.
We are looking for psychology graduates,support Workers and Healthcare Assistants or suitable candidates who would be willing to support people both within their home environment and also willing to provide support in helping service users access the community. We are looking for candidates that are confident with working independently and providing empirical feedback where necessary.

Job Title: Male Support Worker
Location: Nottingham, NG2
Hourly Rate: £12.50-£14 per hour depending on experience.
Driver Essential? Yes

Days & Hours:
21 hours per week total
Monday 8.30am-1.30pm
Tuesday 6am-8am
Wednesday 6am-9am
Thursday 6am-8am
Friday 8.30am-1.30pm
*Specific hours and times to be mutally agreed between the support worker and client.
About you-Essential Experience:
Our client requires a male support worker & the family have requested 35years of age and below only, with relevant care experience and understanding of spinal cord injury and brain injuries, additional training can be provided around ABI.
The successful candidate needs to be able to communicate clearly in English and have a keen interest in sport, the after school support on a Friday would be looking to support in the gym, David Lloyds and ensuring a gym program is implemented appropriately in this setting, training and support from pt and or physio as agreeable.
About our client:
Our client requires a MALE personal care assistant to support with daily routine
Personal care prompts with getting washed dressed and ready and completion of bowel regime , catheterisation, and ensuring all items ready for the day.
Provision to support with implementation of Physio program setting up on rehab equipment and use of callipers, stander FES etc, all training will be provided by Physiotherapy team.
Successful Candidates will:
