Job Summary
Join us as we launch our new facility in Deeside! ICTUK are seeking highly motivated Maintenance Technicians to join our dynamic team. The successful candidates will provide a responsive engineering service to the site manufacturing team, ensuring high levels of machine availability, reliability, safety, and quality. Our team is at the heart of our success, and we pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment for all.
Role Responsibilities
* Execute planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance of process, packaging, and auxiliary equipment according to the PPM schedule.
* Respond swiftly to machine and auxiliary equipment failures.
* Diagnose and rectify faults in electrical and mechanical plant equipment, including packing machinery.
* Actively participate in the site’s health and safety requirements on behalf of the Engineering Department.
* Work independently when required and coordinate the work of others to meet site needs.
* Contribute to the reduction of downtime and improvement of efficiencies through innovative ideas and input.
Required Knowledge and Skills
* Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
* Proven track record of performing PPM activities
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
* Proven engineering experience ideally within an FMCG environment
Desirable knowledge and Skills:
* Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles.
* Previous tissue converting or relatable paper technology.
* Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation
Working hours:
This role will be a shift-based position however during the start-up period you will likely be working on daysBefore You Apply
