Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct routine preventive maintenance on plant machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
* Perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, responding promptly to equipment malfunctions.
* Regularly inspect machines, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective measures.
* Assist in diagnosing and resolving equipment faults to maintain uninterrupted facility operations.
* Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety regulations and company guidelines.
* Assist with special projects or facility upgrades as directed by management.
Requirements:
* Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance.
* Proven experience in a maintenance technician role, ideally within a production or waste management facility.
* Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, with knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
* Solid understanding of Health & Safety protocols and a commitment to safe working practices.
* Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Flexibility for occasional shift work or weekend hours.
