Maintenance Engineer
Location: Havant, Hampshire
Type: Temporary cover
Rate: £18- £20ph
Hours: Monday to Friday - 8am - 5pm.
PRS are recruiting for a maintenance Engineer to cover PPM and reactive maintenance on a prestigious facility in the Havant area. The maintenance Engineer will be responsible for general repairs, compliance checks, fabric maintenance and stock management. The role is a temporary position paying up to £20ph Mon-Fri 40 hours per week. This role will be covering at least 2 weeks. Most jobs will be routine PPM's that a Fabric Engineer could carry out but will also consider an Electrically bias Multi-skilled engineer.
Maintenance Engineer Description:
Provide general maintenance to the facility including:
Lamping
Fabric maintenance
Basic plumbing, patch painting etc.
Completing compliance checks, emergency lighting, tap temps etc.
Assisting engineers and trades on site
Ad-hoc maintenance dutiesMaintenance Engineer Requirements:
To have maintenance and handy person experience
Applicants are expected to have several years prior experience some of which will have been in a similar role and have good customer skills.
It is essential staff are self-motivated and promote a “Can do” customer attitude at all times.
Ability and desire to complete general fabric maintenance tasks
Operate all systems within the building in a competent, effective and efficient manner, adhering to relevant guidelines and bulletinsBefore You Apply
