Peace Recruitment are looking for a reliable and proactive Maintenance Officer to carry out a mix of planned and reactive maintenance tasks across our housing stock. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. The role will be for an initial 3 months but likely to be extended.
You’ll work closely with our housing team and tenants to ensure our properties are maintained to a high standard, carrying out inspections, organising repairs, and liaising with contractors when needed.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out regular property inspections and identify necessary works
*
Respond to and resolve reactive maintenance issues promptly
*
Support planned maintenance programmes and project delivery
*
Coordinate with contractors and ensure works are completed to specification
*
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
*
Provide excellent customer service to tenants and other stakeholders
What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in property maintenance or a related field
*
Good understanding of building maintenance and repair procedures
*
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
*
Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
*
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business use is essential
